Restaurant Review: The Candy Shoppe

The Candy Shoppe is a charming new establishment that opened yesterday in the Salt Lake City area. The place is owned by CB and Dirty Harry (pictured below).

I had heard good things about their mud pies, so last night I went to check it out. To my surprise, the proprietors act as hosts, cooks, and servers. Impressive! Also a permanent fixture at The Candy Shoppe is Aunt Amy (as the locals call her), the shop's table clearer and songstress.

CB and Dirty Harry were kind enough to grant me this brief interview about their new restaurant:

To sum up:
Specialties: Mud Pies and Mud Cake
Prices: $4-$2,400.
Cleanliness: Does THIS answer your question?

Yummy!
Chloe should think about opening a spa and doing mud masks for women. She could make a lot more than $4.

Looks delicious... perhaps Emmett should open a franchise in Texas, specializing in clay mudpies and cakes!

Ooooooh, yum! Do they charge for shipping?

I was impressed that they were savvy enough to bring in an experienced waiter, who sweeps AND sings! Well done CB and Dirty Harry! :D

Oh, and in response to my blog, my kids are Emmett and Elisabeth. Maybe we were subconsciously naming her after you when we called her "Lissie"...

Dirty Harry, don't TELL them it's too expensive! Some yuppy will think it's trendy and fork out the cash anyway. Your kids are so stinkin' cute.
