The First Snowfall

This morning the kids woke up to a fun surprise. I captured it all for you on this low-quality video.

By the time we got out of church, it was all melted. They were bummed. The only way we convinced the children to move to Utah in the first place was to promise them snow. We assured them that there would be many more opportunities for snowball fights.

Jeff went to the grocery store last night and was surprised to find that the parking lot wasn't full and there was plenty of milk, eggs, and bread.

Oh man that is funny. I love Chloe's non-commital "yeaaahhh..." about the snowball fight. Why do boys only think of snowball fights? I miss that Utah snow that melts the same day....

That's Utah winters that I remember- a lot of quick-melting snow. But I know that eventually there will be some that stick...
Thinking about your quest for Musicals, have you ever seen "The Happiest Millionaire"? It has Fred MacMurray and Leslie Ann Warren- it's an old Disney musical that is not well known.

I just watched this again because I wanted to see Harrison's awesome V-neck pajamas. Are they also Halloween-themed? Brilliant! Too bad we're back to fall after that day of winter... (Secretly not too bad.)

Those are sports themed jammies that Mom made for Weston. They don't quite fit Harrison and are always his day before laundry day jammies.
