Believe it or not, there are only so many pictures I can take of my darling family. So I asked my friend Beth if I could take pictures of her darling family.
It was harder than I had anticipated. Apparently not all children are used to having a camera in their face all the time. Most of my shots of the oldest boy turned out like this:
In exchange, she gave me an old cedar chest that was taking up space in her home.
I decided it was the perfect place for our Rock Band instruments. So, naturally, I spraypainted it and replaced our old system:
With this:
(I was going to post this on the Friday Sew'n Tell blog, Allyn. Then I remembered that it's technically not Friday, anymore, and I didn't sew anything. But whatever, dude. Project done!)

Wow! Now there is a vast system improvement! Glad you got to spray paint something else also :) Annnnd, oh my goodness, those dance pictures of Chloe are so so so darling!!
that looks awesome, melissa. the pillows give it just the right touch, don't you think? it counts for sew-n-tell in my book. project done!
Melissa! It's happening! You're becoming a Domestic Goddess! That chest-o-rock-band is perfect. And I love Chloe dancing.
I bet Beth is kicking herself now. Well done Melissa!
You're so smart. You've inspired me to get spray painting:)
Also, Chloe is the cutest in the dance class and I love her hair. I'm trying to think of something cuter than her, but I can't.
Nice!! It looks FAB!!!
I like Allyn's Friday Sew'n Tell thing-a-ma-bop. I am excited to get on some projects I have been putting off.
Fun stuff!!
That looks fantastic! I am very impressed with your spray painting skills.
It's like "flipping" a cedar chest. You go girl.
Awesome. That made my day, Dad. :)
I am a laughing so hard because I know Beth! And perfect Beth payment! Great 'flip' Melissa:) Totally 'sew in tell' worthy.
