Potty Training Diary--Day 5, The End

HOORAY! She figured it out! It took five excruciatingly long days for her to do it, but Chloe can now tell me when she needs to go potty and then goes and does it. The morning started off great and I was thrilled at the prospect of not having to clean up a pee mess. Then my garbage disposal exploded all over my floor and it was, of course, filled with peas. Congratulations, Universe, you win.

I can't believe the garbage disposal exploded. Seriously. I'm so happy the Chloe has decided to follow the path of potty-training success. You go girl.

You really are amazing. Sometimes I still wonder if Sophie and Syrena are potty trained...what is your secret?

yay! does this mean we can come play on tuesday?

Absolutely you can come play!
I have no secrets to potty-training, but I do think the most important thing is to stay positive. When she does something right, we shower her with praise and when she does something wrong, we encourage her to do better next time.

I thought it was hilarious that the garbage disposal had 'peas' in it when it exploded....lest you feel too relaxed that you didn't have to clean up 'pee' hahaha! I'll pay you whatever you want if I can send Andrew down to you. I just need him trained in 4 weeks and 5 days. I can't believe I'll have two in diapers again!

Congrats with Chloe! Potty training is the epitome of refiners fire!
