Tuesday night Harrison performed in his Third Grade Musical. Each grade does a "musical" every year and the third graders get to do a holiday program because theirs is in December. This year's program was called "December Nights, December Lights." They sang songs about lighting the menorah for Hanukkah, lighting the kinara for Kwanzaa, lighting candles for Las Posadas, and lighting store windows for Christmas. Happy All-Inclusive Holiday!

So in love with this picture. Harrison's face, the sneezing kid, the boys with the long hair looking like girls. (Can we please agree to put an end to that trend?) He did such a great job!
Afterwards I asked Harrison and his teacher, Miss D., if they would please pose really awkwardly for a picture. They complied.
Harrison was brave enough to audition for one of the duets in the show. Here's a video of him singing on La Fiesta de Las Posadas. You will see that his ventriloquist act is coming along nicely. (Seriously, how does he sing all of those words without moving his lips? Amazing!)

what a crazy coincidence. my kids did this same performance tuesday night. the 5th grade chorus and the drama club helped out the 4th graders. lilja in the chorus and adam in the drama club (huh?)
harrison did awesome. i love watching his face and his mouth. so cute.
Way to go Harrison!! He is proof that these kids are growing up so fast, glad to see he is carrying on the Maxwell/Lee music gene.
No way, Allyn! That IS a crazy coincidence. Were you all singing "December Nights, December Lights" for the past month, too? The kids started singing it and Miles yelled, "Sember Yights!" Did you also do a sweet flashlight show for "Holiday Lights"?
