Grandma Patti came for her annual Grandma Tour earlier this week. She always comes during Spring Break and we show her all the beautiful outdoor sights of St. Louis. Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it's Spring Break, so we didn't spend much time outside. (So stinkin' COLD!)
Patti agreed to have a special Grandma Date with each of the kids. (Harrison: Do we have to call it that?!) Monday she took Miles to The Magic House where they built Lego cars, went down the "so big slide", and climbed Jack's beanstalk. Tuesday she took Chloe to Ladybug Beads to make a necklace. It's very fancy, but it goes with everything. Wednesday she took Harrison to the City Museum where they climbed and climbed and climbed. Harrison said it was his favorite part of her visit. We also enjoyed "Oz, the Great and Powerful" in 3D, Yogurtland, Dewey's Pizza, and time on Grandma's iPad. Our new t.v. arrived during her visit, so we spent some time breaking it in, too.
I took the above picture this morning just before we dropped Patti off at the airport. After this shot, Harrison walked off the photo shoot and headed to the car to mope. Chloe and Miles were pretty bummed, too. Ain't no sunshine when Grandma's gone.
Thanks so much for coming to play, Patti! We look forward to it every year. Come back soon!
