It's Courage That Counts

For the past two months we've spent our evenings at basketball practice and our Saturdays watching our kids play in their games.  They had a great time playing and learning and growing and sports and bla bla bla.

Chloe's team had a winning season.  She didn't get the ball much, but she did score once and everyone screamed REALLY LOUD.  She was a great defender.  Nobody scores on Chloe.

She had some great coaches and was never happier than when she was sitting on the bench with her team.

"This is the only medal I've ever had that isn't plastic!"  If she had known there was jewelry involved, she might have enjoyed the season a bit more.

High five!  Friendship!  Go Amazingaters!

As you can see, kindergarten basketball is serious business.

They don't keep score in Miles' games, but he made a few baskets nearly every game.

And he was quite the ladies' man off the court.

Chloe and Miles comparing medals.  Buddies!

If he had known there were treats involved, he might have enjoyed the season more.

These boys.  I don't even know what to say.  They lost all but one game.  And they're still smiling!  It was a rough season for the team, but the best Harrison has ever had, personally.  He was amazing.  I was so proud of him.

Go Titans!

Love that quote on the wall (next to my adorable son totally making that shot).

The quote says it all! Yay for three courageous children, who also have skills!
