Sweet Dreams

I always thought the whole "sleeping through the night" thing was a myth. None of my babies ever did that. I figured eight hours of sleep in a row was the most I could hope for. And maybe he won't keep it up, but for the past two weeks Miles has slept through the night. I'm talkin' 7pm to 7am. And even though I don't get to watch reruns of The West Wing at 3am anymore, I think I could learn to live with our new routine.

If you could guarantee me a baby Miles, I'd try for my third right now. I'm so glad he's a good baby for you, he seems to be the sweetest thing.

Miles and Henry are soul brothas! What a sweet picture :) Moms who sleep are happy.

Yay for sleep!

Lyla was and is still like that. If we have more, then they BETTER sleep. Or else...

I think he's trying a little too hard to be the favorite child. Look at that face! Delicious. (And congratulations. Whatever. Maybe our next one will be a sleeper.)

Twelve hours a night for two weeks! That's impressive! Brilliant, adorable boy!

That is the sweetest picture in the world! He's growing way too fast - probably from all that sleeping.:) Miles and Henry are definitely soul mates! They even look a lot alike. ("Identical cousins") Lucky you!

i will have to be the pessimist. it's a growth spurt. no baby could sleep twelve hours a night forever. but enjoy it.

Way to jinx it, Al! He had trouble staying asleep last night. I think I solved the mystery, though. He used to take one monster sized nap in the afternoon, but since Harrison started school (two weeks ago) I've had to wake him up from his nap to go pick up Harrison. Now he only gets three short naps. Yesterday was Saturday, so he got his monster nap. Just call me Jessica Fletcher.

Bah! I wish my girls slept that late. I hope they don't wake him up when we come see you!

Lyla slept 8 hours a night starting at 4 weeks old. Then just a couple months later she switched to 12 hours- 7am to 7pm. She still sleeps that long and takes 2 two hour naps. It's possible. Tell everyone to stop hatin' for having a good sleeper!!
