Show Your Work

Harrison brought home a folder full of work he did at school last week.  A couple of his math worksheets made me laugh.  Here is what he did when he was asked to show his work:

I love the expression on his face in this one.

I LOVE this! What a smart little guy. Why show my work when I just did the work in my mind? Atta boy.

Melissa this made my day! If I had to show my work in first grade, it would have been a picture of me counting on my fingers.

Harrison is super.

Too bad he's not very smart.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Who needs fingers and cubes when you've got a genius head?

Ha ha! I hope you save those forever! So, he'll be in 3rd grade next year, right?

I'll bet his teacher copied those to save too! What a kid!

Oh my gosh, I love this!! Hello! Show my work? Ok...in my head, I think 5+4 = 9. That's awesome.

That is hilarious!! Clearly he's a bit more artistically minded. He thought in his head this math is very simple, so now I will draw a picture.

I'm glad you found these as adorable as I did. Secretly, I accidently threw them away before showing Jeff and he made me dig them out of the garbage. The edges were slimy. You're welcome.

I should have drawn pictures like that when I was trying to "show my work" in high school algebra.
